Law Enforcement for Youth was founded in March 2003 by local law enforcement officers and community members that had a desire to help youth in the community. They did this by providing opportunities to low-income, at risk, and medically challenged youth and the programs that serve them.
Over the past 14 years, Law Enforcement for Youth has been able to provide these programs and services to countless numbers of youth, non-profits, and schools throughout the State of Oregon, with an all volunteer board and no paid staff members.
It is with much deliberation, multiple conversations with community members, and thoughtful consideration that this era of Helping Youth in our Community must come to a close for Law Enforcement for Youth. We are extremely proud of the support that the community has been able to give over the past 14 years, and look forward to seeing how the community will continue to step up and support local non profits in their mission of Helping Youth in Our Community…
